Fredrik Høstaker

Fredrik Høstaker is from Førde, Norway, and educated at Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) and Bårdar Akademiet.He has been employed by Kilden Teater since the fall of 2019 and has played the leading role in Idioten, Jonas, Hundrevis av barn i vill kamp, Villskudd and Amadeus. In addition, he has participated in The Cherry Orchard, Small Talk, Galaksehopen, Erasmus Montanus, Culpa! and A Christmas Story.

At other theaters he has played Tom in The Glass Menagerie at Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre), Hans in Kjærleikens Ferjereiser at Teater Vestland and Trille in Vaffelhjarte at Haugesund Teater.

Fredrik has also been a co-creating performing artist in projects such as Gjenstand for spilt at the Theatre Festival in Fjaler and Goro Tronsmo's Staged Institutions IV for the National Museum.

He has also appeared in short films and TV, including NRK's drama series Valkyrien.In 2025, he will be seen in The Count of Monte Cristo, Ghosts and Small Talk - Ring Christmas in with the Dvergsnes family.
