Practical information

• All children need their own ticket. Choose ticket type U30, which is the most affordable ticket for anyone under the age of 30.
• For the sake of the child and the audience, we do not allow children under the age of 2 at performances and concerts, unless otherwise stated in the program.

We have two cloakrooms in Kilden's foyer where visitors can hang up their outerwear. Here you will also find our toilets.

Kilden has 3 different hearing aid solutions available in all three halls - which one you choose depends on which connection options you have on your hearing aid.

1. Teleslynge:

Passer for deg som har telespole i høreapparatet ditt. For å benytte deg av teleslynge trenger du en halsslynge som du kan få låne i billettskranken.

Dersom du ikke har høreapparat eller høreapparat med telespole, kan du få låne hodetelefoner til halsslyngen.

2. Phonak RogerWallPilot:

Passer for deg som har RogerDirect i Phonak-høreapparatet ditt. Du kobles automatisk til systemet, når du passerer Roger WallPilot. Du får et signal i høreapparatet ditt som bekreftelse på at du er koblet til. Roger WallPilot henger på veggen før du går inn til konsertsalen. Det er viktig at du står maks 1 meter i fra når du skal kobles til.

3. Bluetooth:

Har du Bluetooth i ditt høreapparat kan du bruke dette som hørselshjelp. Når du kommer til Kilden skal du gjøre som følger:

Some hearing aids can start to beep, which can be annoying for both musicians and audiences. To avoid this, we recommend the following:

• Adjust the volume: Keep the volume moderate.
• Check the fit: Make sure your hearing aid fits well.
• Use feedback reduction: Enable this feature if available.
• Avoid covering the hearing aid: Do not cover the hearing aid with your hands or objects.

Pets are not allowed in Kilden. Exceptions apply to people who use guide dogs. 

Kilden has an elevator for our visitors who are disabled. The halls have dedicated spaces for wheelchairs. If you need assistance, please contact the box office or one of our staff in the foyer. Wheelchair spaces can be booked by contacting our box office. You can also book a ticket for a companion with a companion certificate.

Kilden contains four halls:

• Konsertsalen has 1031 seats.
• The theater and opera hall has 653 seats.
• Multisalen has 220 seats.
• Intimsalen has 100 seats.

Our restaurant, Frihavn, is located at the south end of Kilden's public foyer and offers tasty dishes from an extensive menu. Our foyer bar is the natural meeting place in Kilden and offers a rich selection of drinks and light food. If you order a drink from the bar before the performance, we will have it ready for you during the interval. Drinks purchased in the foyer bar can be taken into the auditorium.

We encourage the public and visitors to use environmentally friendly means of transportation when visiting Kilden.

Bicycle : Behind Kilden there are several places where you can lock your bike in a suitable rack. 

Electric scooters: Several providers of electric scooters have parking right next to Kilden. The scooters require a separate app and registered payment solution.

Buss: Nærmeste busstopp er Kristiansand Bussterminal og ligger en snau kilometer unna Kilden teater og konserthus.

Car: Behind Kilden there is a parking garage operated by Aimo Park.

If you come to Kilden by car, you should allow plenty of time to park in the parking garage, as there may be queues at times. The parking garage behind Kilden has 400 24-hour parking spaces over five floors, including 27 charging spaces for electric cars (type 2). Kople is responsible for the charging stations.
