Runar Hodne

Runar Hodne is a theater director and professor at the Danish School of Performing Arts.

Hodne has staged 60 productions and has taught at theater schools in Norway and abroad. He has been head of the directing program at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts from 2015-2021. Since his debut in 2001 at the National Theatre in Oslo with the production of "Nokon kjem til å komme" by Jon Fosse, Hodne has directed modern and classic plays at theaters in Norway, Denmark and Sweden (e.g. Dramaten, Aarhus Theatre, The Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen and The National Theatre in Oslo). Since 1992, Hodne has also worked as a director and photographer for film and TV.
