Simon Revholt
Simon Revholt graduated from Dartington College of Arts, Barratt Dues Music Institute and the Norwegian Academy of Music with a degree in singing, piano and conducting. He is music director at the National Theatre and has been responsible for productions such as A Midsummer Night's Dream, Journey to the Christmas Star, Anna Karenina and The Incredible Story of the Giant Pear. Simon was part of the artistic management of the Music Lab project at Torshovteatret from 2014 - 2016. He has also worked at Rogaland Theatre, Hålogaland Theatre, Riksteatret, The Norwegian Theatre, The National Stage, The Royal Theatre, Teatret Vårt and now at Kilden and the production Amadeus. At Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre), Revholt has been musical director for the productions Cabaret and Så som i Himmelen. He works as a composer and musical director/conductor, and was also musical director for Peer Gynt at Gålå from 2017 - 2018, as well as musical director for The Saint Olav Play from 2016 to the present. In 2018, Revholt was nominated for the Hedda Award for best audiovisual design for the production Sound of Music at Hålogaland Theatre.
