Synne Reichelt Føreland

Synne Reichelt Føreland comes from Kristiansand. She is a graduate of Esmod Design School and holds a master's degree in fine arts from the University of Agder.

Since 2014, she has worked as a freelancer based in Oslo. She has participated in Gjesmearkivet, directed by Miriam Prestøy Lie, and is a regular costume designer for the performance trio DJ Grovi. She has also worked as a set costume designer in a number of Norwegian and international feature films, including The Arsonist by Erik Skjoldbjærg, The Snowman by Tomas Alfredson and Utøya 22 July by Erik Poppe.

In the spring of 2022, Reichelt Føreland did costume design for Rosmersholm at Kilden Theatre, which earned her a Hedda Award nomination for best costume design. In the fall of 2022, she did costume design for the production Samhold Søkes at Kilden Theatre, and in the fall of 2024 she was back with costume design for En julefortelling. In 2025, she is once again at Kilden, this time with costume design for Ibsen's Ghosts.
