What does it mean to live inside or outside the box? Who decides where the lines are drawn, and what happens in the space between the accepted and the unthinkable?

"Everything in between - inside and outside the box" is presented by the 2nd class of the songwriter and artist program at UiARytmisk at the University of Agder. What does it mean to live inside or outside the box? Who decides where the lines are drawn, and what happens in the space between the accepted and the unthinkable? The concert explores the many invisible boxes that surround us - norms, expectations and limitations that affect both identity and creative expression. Through their own music and interpretations of other songwriters' songs, the students investigate how life is lived in the tension between adaptation and freedom. Some challenge established frameworks, while others choose to embrace them. The concert also questions who really has the power to define what is "inside" and what is "outside" - and what happens in the space between the accepted and the unexpected.
