"Word against word" is performed by Arendal Ungdomsteater, which started in the fall of 2022 and is a theater group for youth from 10.klasse - 3 vgs. Arendal Ungdomsteater is a collaboration between Arendal kulturskole and Ung Kultur i Arendal. This is our first production together - and we look forward to showing it to you!
In "Words Against Words", we meet a group of friends who have just started high school. After the first party, the whole school is talking about how Eva and Viktor did it. They locked themselves in his room... but Eva can't quite remember... What really happened?
No one else was in that room. No one can prove anything. It's just word against word.
In this topical play, Eikner addresses a difficult topic, and a very real issue. #Boundaries, parties, sex, alcohol, high school, friends, credibility.
