Askeladden and the good helpers
A Manu Mini performance by Asbjørnsen and Moe
Once upon a time there was a king who had heard of a ship that could sail as well on land as on water, and in the air too. He promised the princess and half the kingdom to anyone who could build this ship for him. Many try, including the brothers Per and Pål, but they have little luck. But the third brother, Askeladden, also takes a chance and embarks on a journey where he meets various people who will help him...
The performance is accessible to both deaf and hearing people. Manu Mini are small, outreach performances aimed at children and families. In this performance, three actors are on stage: Ronny Patrick Jacobsen, Isaac Emanuel S. Jacobsen and Megan Matovich-Noddeland.
With simple, visual elements, they tell one of our best-known fairy tales for children aged 3 and up.
