"Gunnar at Mo goes to Zanzibar" is the sequel to the popular show "Gunnar at Mo". This new show focuses on well-known and beloved revue songs from the 30s to the 70s. The audience gets to know the bachelor and wanderer Gunnar, inspired by Prøysen's Tango for Two. He is no stranger to a flirtation, but stops when he hears the refrain about rings and marriage back in his homeland. Can he really escape his lady troubles by fleeing to the white beaches of Zanzibar?
With humor, dance and song, we take the audience on a nostalgic journey back to their own youth, and maybe the ladies in the audience will get a wink from Gunnar.
