Kilden Vokalensemble (KVE) has for many years been Southern Norway's only ensemble for professional singers. The ensemble has strong ties to Kilden Opera and Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, and has contributed to several opera productions, musicals and symphony concerts in Kilden. The ensemble also holds its own a cappella concerts, with a wide range of genres and high artistic quality. KVE is an elite initiative that continually seeks to attract the best singers on the market to create vocal music at an international level. The ambition is also to be an attractive workplace that contributes to even more trained singers settling in southern Norway. KVE is supported by the Norwegian Directorate for Culture.

Marit Tøndel Bodsberg graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music and the University of Agder. She is currently conductor and artistic director of Kilden Vocal Ensemble. Marit is also artistic director and conductor of the Norwegian Student Choral Society and the Female Student Choral Society at the University of Oslo and teaches conducting at the Norwegian Academy of Music and in the Talent Development Program (TUP) at the University of Agder. Under the auspices of Interkultur, she holds a number of seminars, workshops and master classes for both conductors and singers. Bodsberg has also contributed as an adjudicator and jury member at several competitions both in Norway and abroad.
