Kilden and Kunstsilo presents Over seas!

Experience classical music in beautiful interaction with video art. Water will be the visual theme, with inspiration from the Baltic Sea, Finnish lakes and the Ganges River.

The pre-talk this evening will be led by Marie Teresie Sørensen. She will talk to the directors of Kunstsilo and Kilden, Reidar Fuglestad and Harald Furre, about the importance of collaboration between the institutions and about the ambitions for The Nordic Art Symphony Project, of which the concert Over seas is the first edition. In addition, KSO Director Pål Svendsberget and Head of Digital Communication and Development at Kunstsilo, Torill Haugen, will talk about what the audience can expect in konsertsalen. Welcome to the concert!

Warm collaboration

over seas Elina brothers In collaboration with eivind aadland

We welcome conductor Eivind Aadland back to Kilden for the occasion. He has composed and arranged the musical program in collaboration with the world-renowned artist Elina Brotherus and her visual art. 

Elina Brotherus is a recognized photographic artist who has received several awards, including Carte blanche PMU, France in 2017, the Finnish State Prize for Photography in 2008, and the Prix Niépce in 2005. Recently, some of her works were purchased for the Tangen collection, which is moving into Kunstsilo.
