Easter Moon Wishing Sun
Inspired by a book by Jo Tenfjord and Harald Nordberg.
Whoever sees the sun dance on Easter morning can make a wish!
Siblings, parents and not least grandparents are warmly welcomed.
Far north in Svartdalen lives Vesle-Live and dad. Great-grandmother Gammel-Live lives in the farmhouse out in the yard.
But one day something happens, and Little-Live gets an important assignment...
Thea Borring Lande narrates and plays Vesle-Live, while Jørn Erik Ahlsen Alkanger tones
the performance. Using simple, high-quality instruments, they tell a big, small story framed by
the annual and life cycles of life and nature, on the children's terms. Marte Magnusdotter Solem has
dramatized and directed the performance with her wise eye - with lots of twinkle in her eye and love for
people.
Easter Moon Wish Sun is a playful and beautiful performance.
About the performers:
Actor Thea Borring Lande has played big roles on several of the country's biggest stages, but loves to
play in small rooms with just the right amount of people. Because here we meet for real! She is
passionate about giving the audience good theater experiences with room for both laughter and maybe a little tear in the corner of the eye.
Musician Jørn Erik Ahlsen Alkanger is a Grammy Award-winning guitarist with thousands
of children's concerts behind him together with artist Sarah Camille. With a background in jazz and rock, and with
several years of research into taarab music from Zanzibar, Tanzania, he has created a unique style that
blends a modern sound with the traditional and the close. As a theater musician, he fills the space
and the story with sounds and melodies that make us listen even better.
