Ahead of the season, we invite you to an atmospheric evening with excerpts from the 2025/26 season. The program contains selected works that the audience will be able to experience throughout the season, presented by our own musicians. Included in the ticket you get a tasty round-up with selected tastes from the new Afternoon tea concept of Restaurant Frihavn.

KSO is led this evening by conductor Julie Røssland. She is part of Talent Norway's elite program Dirigentløftet, and has conducted several of the Norwegian symphony orchestras.

After the Smakebit concert, the audience will get a taste of Restaurant Frihavn's new Afternoon Tea concept.

From September 6, you can enjoy this tasty offer every Saturday, which consists of three gorgeous floors filled with delicious small dishes and something good in the glass.

Conductor Julie Røssland on the podium

Røssland was born in Voss in 2000 and started her master's studies at the Sibelius Academy in the fall of 2023. She holds a bachelor's degree in conducting from the University of Stavanger, and has participated in masterclasses at the Royal Northern College of Music with Mark Heron and at the Nordic Masterclass with Jorma Panula.
