SPOR has been thrilling audiences for 10 years, and in March we mark the journey with a brand new and magnificent performance in Kilden Concert Hall.

This year's SPOR performance is honest, naked and skinless, but also energetic, funny and magnificent. The script is based on the pupils' own reality, their stories, skills and view of the world. A world that has gone a bit off the rails.

On stage are young people with different disabilities and their peers. Together they create moving and inspiring moments in interaction with the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra.

SPOR uses art as a tool for mastery, tolerance and inclusion, and has been developed in close collaboration with the educational community at Kristiansand Katedralskole Gimle.

Pupils with functional variations have rarely been visible and given a voice in professional, creative contexts. SPOR is a performance that shows what is possible when long-term artistic processes are facilitated for this group, in interaction with peers and professional actors.

That's why SPOR has attracted a lot of attention. In 2021, SPOR contributed with a feature at the government's memorial event for July 22 in Oslo Spektrum and on NRK TV. The same fall, NRK TV published a two-episode documentary series about SPOR. In 2021, the driving forces behind SPOR, Mette Midling Jenssen and Elisabeth Lindland, were awarded the County Culture Prize for their work with SPOR.

Kilden Dialog is a competence center for inclusion, diversity and co-creative art. The initiative is based on the conviction that music, performing arts and co-creation are health-promoting and can contribute to life management and increased quality of life. SPOR is a Kilden Dialog project
