Decolonial walking tour (Podwalk) in Kristiansand

The production *Kill Devil* takes the audience on a journey back to an often-overlooked chapter of Norwegian history—a story of colonies, slavery, and abuse of power. Researcher Frida Forsgren, Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Agder, has created a podwalk in collaboration with Kilden that takes listeners on an exciting and hopefully educational stroll through the streets of Kristiansand, tying it all together with the themes of the performance.

To take advantage of this offer, you must download the “Echoes” app, either for Android or for iPhone. Once the app is downloaded and you’ve granted it permission to access your location, the Podwalk about Kill Devil will appear.

If you’ve already downloaded Echoes, you can scan the QR code to go straight to the Podwalk. When you open the app, you’ll find Kill Devil and can tap “Start” to get going. To play the audio, you must physically move into the circles on the map; only then will the audio play in the app. Your current location is marked with a small blue arrow.

Enjoy your walk!
