Our instructor is Silje Hansen Flemmen!

Silje is a full-time employee at Kilden a singing and theater educator, with a special focus on Kilden’s programs for children and young people. She serves as project manager and educator for UngdomsKilden in this capacity has directed and developed performances and been involved in numerous productions as an educator at Kilden.
Develop stage presence and ensemble skills, and gain familiarity with various forms of theatrical expression.
Develop and unite body, voice and mind through exercises in acting technique.
Develop the ability to reflect on one’s own role in collective theater work.
Develop aesthetic sense, creative powers and the ability to see the value in the artistic theater process.
Develop an understanding of the inner workings of the theater—specifically, how the theater functions as an institution and how different artists collaborate with one another in the creation of a production.
The curriculum at UngdomsKilden provide students with a solid foundation for applying to formal acting programs.
UngdomsKilden established with support from the Cultiva Foundation and is part of an initiative to enhance skills and develop talent in the region.
Classes at UngdomsKilden mandatory. Because the classes are group-based and process-oriented, we rely on everyone to make attendance a priority. Your absence affects not only your own learning but also the learning of the others in your group.
Excused absences apply to illness or exceptional circumstances. If students have more than three unexcused absences, they may lose their spot at UngdomsKilden.
Students are expected to prepare if they have been assigned homework or reading material.
Cell phones are not allowed in the practice room
