Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra
The Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra has grown into a truly outstanding ensemble, bringing us joy, beauty, and enthusiasm from the first bar to the last. The Crescendo Friends Association is an opportunity for those who wish to support the orchestra and learn more about the world of music.

Benefits of being a Crescendo member
As a member, you’ll be invited to “pre-concert talks,” listening workshops, cultural trips, member meetings, and other events designed to inspire and enrich your musical experiences.
Crescendo Scholarship
Each year, Crescendo awards a Crescendo Grant to support musical projects within the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. The grant was established in the spring of 2024. It is intended to motivate and support musicians in the KSO who wish to carry out projects that are not part of the orchestra’s regular program.
The Crescendo Series
Together with the orchestra’s program director, we’ve put together a special subscription series for Crescendo members, featuring six hand-picked concerts each season.
