Kilden & Competence Center
Against the backdrop of a challenging worldview, more than 1,300 children aged 6-12 created their own imaginative interpretations and colorful works of art on the theme "Soria Moria - if I were king or queen".
The artworks were displayed in a wonderful exhibition at Christiansholm Fortress.
Soria Moria offered a fascinating glimpse into the thoughts, creativity, and artistic expressions of children and young people in Kristiansand.
In recent years, the global landscape has been largely shaped by the pandemic and war. This has caused anxiety and unease among many children. The art project was therefore a positive experience for all participants, with a focus on experience, mastery, inclusion, and diversity.
The project was a collaboration with the Blue Cross, most of the elementary schools in the municipality, the Sørlandet Art Museum, Kilden other local cultural institutions.
