"The ABCs of Stage Technology" was a course offered to young people aged 15–20 in the fields of stage, lighting, and sound.
The aim of the instruction was to provide students with insight into and an understanding of the process of stage technical work, as well as practical skills in sound and lighting technology and design for performances, concerts, and other stage productions. Four to six students participated in a regular program at Kilden was primarily linked to the cultural school’s productions, but also to other performances and concerts at Kilden and Concert Hall. The instruction was led by the heads of the lighting and sound departments at Kilden.
For Kilden, the initiative was part of the Kilden program, aimed at raising awareness of stage-related professions and promoting future recruitment in these fields.
