Kilden & Competence Center
Fotspor was a theater group composed of participants from the Kirkens Bymisjon work experience program, and serves as an example of how we operate as a center of excellence for collaborative art and social practice. Under the motto“experience – empathy – participation,” we reached out beyond the stage and invited others to create art together with us.
The Fotspor theater group adopted a process-oriented approach, with the participants themselves creating the performances under the guidance of a theater educator. They met for weekly rehearsals in acting technique, storytelling, physical expression, vocal technique, and singing.
Fotspor was established in the fall of 2009 as a collaboration between Kirkens Bymisjon, the University of Agder, and Kilden . The theater group collaborated with organizations such as the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, the senior choir Sølvstrupene, and actors and performing arts students from the University of Agder.
