KILDEN ARENDALSUKA

News

We at Kilden proud to be able to contribute several exciting events during Arendalsuka 2018.

On Tuesday, August 14, Kilden’s director, Hans Antonsen, will participate in the debate “Cultural Policy for a New Era?”. On the same day, Kilden’s theater director, Birgit Amalie Nilssen, will give a lecture on the role of dialogue in inclusion and gender equality efforts.

We look forward to once again presenting the audience favorite *Anne Frank’s Siblings*, which is more relevant than ever. The play is set in a Europe undergoing dramatic change and tells the story of Jarmila, a Norwegian-born woman who is torn from her everyday life and becomes part of the flow of refugees. The performance will take place on Friday, August 17.

Once again, the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra (KSO) has the pleasure of closing out Arendalsuka, and this time they’ll be doing so with a preview of the upcoming season. The preview concert will take place on Saturday, August 18.

The events are free and open to everyone. Welcome to Arendal!
