Aleksander Skovly

Aleksander Skovly is from Kristiansand; he is a baritone singer and has a deep love for choral singing and ensemble work. He has studied at the Barratt Due Music Institute, the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, and the Norwegian Academy of Music.

Musically, Aleksander loves Baroque music and the older repertoire, and opera is also close to his heart. He finds inspiration in listening to other talented singers, and would gladly welcome some personal advice from Tito Gobbi. In addition to classical music, he enjoys listening to both rap and heavy metal, and he draws a lot of inspiration from exploring different musical styles.

For Aleksander, the sense of community is one of the best things about singing in Kilden , and he really appreciates the people and the camaraderie in the group. When he’s not singing, what he likes best is to completely zone out and simply not think about anything.
