Ane Ledang Aasheim

Ane Ledang Aasheim, from Kristiansand, is a costume designer who graduated from the Esmod School of Design and has been working as a costume designer since completing her studies in 1996.

To date, she has appeared in over 90 productions, including *The Father*, *Othello*, *Joan of Arc*, *Strategies for a Bright Future*, *R.U.R. – Rossum’s Universal Robots*, and *Working Title: Lost Community* at the National Theater. Most recently, she worked on They Must Give Birth to Us or Fuck Us to Love Us, directed by Ole Johan Skjelbred, with whom she has collaborated on 10 productions. Here at Kilden , they Kilden Mysteries together in the fall of 2020. They also shared the set design responsibilities for that production. At Det Norske Teatret, her credits include Fiddler on the Roof and The Cherry Orchard. At Trøndelag Teater, she has designed costumes for productions including Moby Dick, Dagen under, The Brothers Karamazov, and Bjærtnes/Lygre. She has also worked on numerous productions at Riksteatret, Oslo Nye Teater, Dansens Hus, Den Norske Opera & Ballett, and Den Nationale Scene, as well as at several theaters in Denmark and Sweden.

Ane has worked with several directors, including Runar Hodne, Angelina Stojcevska, Johannes Dahl, Trine Wiggen, and Stefan Larsson. Ane Ledang Aasheim and Runar Hodne have collaborated on a number of productions in Norway and abroad since 1998. They are now working together again on the production *Heimanifrå – på høge hæle* in June at Kilden .
