Ann-Sofie Rase
Ann-Sofie Rase is from Stockholm and studied at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts from 1988 to 1991.
Ann-Sofie has been employed at Kulturhuset Stockholm Stadsteater since 1994, where she has appeared in some 50 productions, including Three Sisters, The Three Musketeers, My Fair Lady, Richard III, My Struggle, Peer Gynt and The Idiot.
She has appeared in several Swedish films and TV series, including BECK, A Royal Affair, Jordskott, The Sandhamn Murders and Seven Millionaires. She has also appeared in the Norwegian film Stein, directed by Bent Hamer.
Ann-Sofie has received an international award for her role in the film The Unknown from 2000 and several awards for Best Actress in Bittersweet from 2021.
Ann-Sofie starred in Jeppe on the Hill at the Bergen Theater Festival in 2011 and made a guest appearance in My Struggle by Karl Ove Knausgård at the Ibsen and Hamsund Days in Grimstad in 2016.
This is Ann-Sofie’s first appearance as an actress at Kilden , and in 2024 she will appear in *Oedipus/Antigone*.
