Åsmund Solberg
Musician
Åsmund Solberg is a musician based in Oslo who plays guitar and pedal steel guitar. He grew up in Froland and has a musical background in folk music and jazz, having studied at the University of Agder (performing arts) and the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg. In 2020, he was nominated for the Spellemann Prize and won the Folkelarm Prize for the duo album *Heimespel* with Johanne Flottorp. Over the past two years, he has also been involved with *ENTER*, a traveling outdoor multimedia sculpture in collaboration with artist Signe Solberg. In 2022, he served as composer and musician for the stage adaptation of Paal-Helge Haugen’s Anne, and in 2023, he will contribute as composer to Georg Büchner’s Woyzeck.
