Carl-Christian Kure
Carl-Christian Kure is from Sarpsborg and has a particular fondness for classical music, especially National Romanticism. If he were a singer during this period, he would have chosen Edvard Grieg as his dream collaborator. He also has a strong interest in the intersection of folk music and art music, and is actively working to explore and highlight folk music from Østfold and forgotten Norwegian composers.
He studied classical singing at the Norwegian Academy of Music and opera at the Stockholm Academy of Opera, and has worked with several renowned teachers.
For Carl-Christian, singing in an ensemble is something truly special. When voices blend together in a shared focus and expression, moments of pure musical magic arise.
Otherwise, he enjoys a more down-to-earth life as a part-time dairy farmer, where he helps care for a small herd of Scottish Highland cattle.
