Eva Mari Andreasen is Head of Research at Kilden Arts Centre and an external affiliate at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Agder (UiA). In her role as Head of Research, she helps make Kilden hub for new knowledge and collaboration by
- conducting research on how the arts and culture influence health, quality of life, and living conditions
- documenting results from Kilden
- opening Kilden collaboration with other research institutions
- building national and international research partnerships
She is also actively involved in communicating research to the public through opinion pieces and media interviews.
Eva Mari has extensive clinical experience in nursing and has worked in medical, surgical, and psychiatric wards, as well as in municipal healthcare services, for twelve years. She holds a PhD in Health Sciences (2024) from the University of Agder (UiA) and won the prestigious Researchers’ Grand Prix competition in 2022.
She is a member of the research group Health and Quality of Life in a Family Perspective (HEIFA) at UiA, and of the Nordic Arts & Health Research Network and the International Network for the Critical Appraisal of Arts and Health Research.
