Fredrik Høstaker

Fredrik Høstaker isfrom Førde and trained at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) and the Bårdar Academy.

He has been employed at Kilden since the fall of 2019 and has played the lead roles in *The Idiot*, *Jonas*, *Hundreds of Children in a Wild Struggle*, *Wild Shot*, and *Amadeus*. In addition, he has appeared in The Cherry Orchard, Small Talk, The Galaxy Cluster, Erasmus Montanus, Culpa!, and A Christmas Story.

At other theaters, he has played roles such as Tom in *The Glass Menagerie* at Oslo Nye Teater, Hans in *Kjærleikens Ferjereiser* at Teater Vestland, and Trille in *Vaffelhjarte* at Haugesund Teater. 

Fredrik has also been a co-creator in performing arts projects such as *Gjenstand*, performed at the Fjaler Theater Festival, and Goro Tronsmo’s *Staged Institutions IV* for the National Museum. 

He has also appeared in short films and on television, including NRK’s drama series *Valkyrien*.

In 2025, he will appear in *The Count of Monte Cristo*, *Gengangere*, and *Small Talk – Ring julen inn med familien Dvergsnes*.
