Ingunn Olsen Høgetveit

Ingunn Olsen Høgetveitis a leading performer in Southern Norway, having taken on several roles at Kilden and Concert Hall, including Zerlina in*Don Giovanni*and Katherina Cavalieri in*Amadeus*. She holds a master’s degree in vocal performance from the Grieg Academy in Bergen. 

Ingunn is an active concert soloist and has performed with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, among others, as well as appearing at the Bergen National Opera and the Bergen International Festival. She has also performed internationally, including at Carnegie Hall in New York and at the Edinburgh Festival. 

In addition to her performing career, she has experience in directing, choreography, and artistic direction, and she has been part of the artistic team behind Kilden’s Christmas production*Like til Betlehem*. She is a regular soprano with KVE and has also performed with the Norwegian Soloists’ Choir and the Edvard Grieg Vocal Ensemble. 

In addition to her freelance work, Ingunn serves as an advisor on music and the performing arts for Agder County.
