Jostein Fahre

Jostein Fahre, from Skien in Telemark, recently graduated from the Opera School at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.

He has already performed several roles in various opera productions in Norway and abroad, including Basilio in *The Marriage of Figaro*, Nadir in *The Pearl Fishers*, Lurcanio in *Ariodante* in Riga, Latvia, and Joab in *David and Bathsheba* (Kleiberg) with the TSO in Norway and Poland. He has also played Rodolfo in La bohème atthe Bergen National Opera, and Olav the Holy in The Commander at the Oscarsborg Opera.

In 2022–2023, Jostein received talent grants from the Wilhelmsen Foundation, the G.B. Rieber Fund, the Sine Butenschøn Fund, and Sparebank1.
