Karen Mathilde Heier Hovd

Karen Mathilde Heier Hovd has made a name for herself with roles such as Lisetta in *Il Mondo della Luna*, Amor in *Orfeo ed Euridice*, Irene in *Atalanta*, and Don Ramiro in *La Finta Giardiniera*, as well as in the world premiere of *Anima* by Håkon Nystedt, a role written especially for her.

She made her debut in Italy in 2025 as Lucilla in *La scala di seta* under the direction of Jan Willem de Vriend, and has also participated in a master class with Joyce DiDonato at Carnegie Hall.
