Lars Funderud Johannessen

Lars Funderud Johannessen grew up in Asker and spent his teenage years in Kristiansand. It was there that he got his start in theater, including through Agder Teater’s “Rugekasse” project for young people interested in theater. Lars received his acting training at the Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York. He has worked at several Norwegian theaters, including Teatret Vårt in Molde, Brageteatret, Det Norske Teatret, and Agder Teater. From 2007 to 2019, he worked at Rogaland Teater, where he was also a permanent employee. Lars also has experience from several TV productions.
In 2021, Lars appeared in *Erasmus Montanus* at Kilden , as well as in *Amadeus*, which was unfortunately postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, he will once again be appearing at Kilden *Rosmersholm* and *Samhold søkes*.
