Ingrid Margitte Narvesen
Ingrid Margitte Narvesen is a lyric soprano from Kristiansand, whose heart remains firmly rooted in Southern Norway despite having spent several years in Eastern Norway.
She studied at the University of Agder and the Norwegian Academy of Music, where she earned both a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in classical voice. During her studies, she also spent a year in Salzburg at the Universität Mozarteum.
Margitte has broad musical tastes, but she feels a particular affinity for the classical tradition, with Johann Sebastian Bach as one of her greatest sources of inspiration. At the same time, she draws inspiration from everything from French Impressionism to artists like Lady Gaga, whom she admires for her courage, creativity, and uncompromising spirit.
When performing in an ensemble, she finds great joy in the close interaction between singers, where shared breathing, sound, and presence can create truly unique musical moments.
Margitte is a passionate food enthusiast with a love for Italian cuisine, an avid quiz participant, and a creative soul who enjoys doing crafts.
