Marit Tøndel Bodsberg

Principal Conductor

Marit Tøndel Bodsberg is a graduate of the Norwegian Academy of Music and the University of Agder. She is currently the conductor and artistic director of the professional ensemble Kilden . Marit is also the artistic director and conductor of the Norwegian Student Choir and the Women’s Student Choir at the University of Oslo, and teaches conducting at the Norwegian Academy of Music and in the Talent Development Program (TUP) at the University of Agder.

Under the auspices of Interkultur and others, she holds a series of seminars, workshops, and master classes for both conductors and singers. Bodsberg has also served as a judge and jury member at several competitions both in Norway and abroad. She has participated in numerous recordings as a singer, conductor, and flutist, and she has won several national and international choir competitions and conducting awards, including at the International Anton Bruckner Choir Competition in Linz.
