Oscar Udbye

Oscar Udbye is from Trondheim and studied film production at the University of York in England. Oscar lives in Oslo and works as a lighting and video designer. His credits include *20 November* at Oslo Nye Teater, *Pust* at Riksteatret, *Miss Frankenstein* at Trøndelag Teater, *Sangfoni* and *The Story of Shirley & Woundman* at Brageteatret, and *Lille Leiolf* at Black Box Teater.

He has previously collaborated with directors such as Jo Strømgren, Kjell Moberg, Nils Petter Mørland, Ilene Sørbøe, and Hildur Kristindsdottir. He has also worked on several projects with Antiteateret. In addition to performing arts, Oscar has done extensive work in lighting and video design for artists, and has created lighting designs for tours and TV appearances for artists including Kristian Kristensen, Inge Bremnes, and ROHEY.

Oscar has also directed several award-winning short films, winning prizes at events such as the Kurzfilmtage Hamburg, the Royal Television Society (UK), and Interfilm Berlin. His short film *Things that happened on the 9th of March* was distributed on television in 42 countries via Canal+ Top of the Shorts.
