Øystein Lauen

Øystein Lauen is from Byremo and is a trained teacher. He works as a department head at a high school.

Øystein has extensive experience in music genres such as country, rock, and folk music, and has played in various bands over the years. Among other things, he was a member of the band Riders for 25 years, and currently plays in the GSL band. He has participated in music festivals and folk music competitions, and plays instruments such as the fiddle, accordion, and guitar.

Øystein has also been active in the local music and revue scene in Byremo. For many years, he has served as the director of Musikkverkstedet in Byremo, which has grown into a large volunteer organization that works with children and young people in the fields of music and the performing arts.
