Siv Oda Hagerupsen

Siv Oda Hagerupsen, from Sørfold in Nordland, has made a name for herself in Norway through solo roles at all the regional opera companies and as a soloist with the country’s leading orchestras.
Her most recent roles have been as Marcellina in *The Marriage of Figaro* at Opera Nordfjord, Gláša in Janáček’s *Káťa Kabanová*, and Kuchtik in Dvořák’s *Rusalka* at the Bergen National Opera.
She has previously appeared at L’Opéra de Montréal in Canada, performed roles such as Suzuki in *Madama Butterfly* and Eboli in Verdi’s *Don Carlo* at Opera på Skäret in Sweden, and in Trondheim she has performed as Marthe in Gounod’s *Faust* and Emilia in Verdi’s *Otello*.
Siv Oda studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Opera and the Northern Norwegian Academy of Music, and made her debut with the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet in 1999 as the Third Lady in Mozart’s *The Magic Flute*.
