Trond Gudevold

Trond Gudevold is from Fredrikstad and trained at the Barrat-Due Music Institute and the Norwegian National Academy of Opera in Oslo. He has worked with the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet on numerous occasions and served as a bass soloist at the opera houses in Münster and Kiel (Germany) for several years. 

Trond Gudevold has appeared in many major operas over the years: La Bohème, Don Giovanni, Turandot, Tosca to name a few. After several years abroad, he returned to Norway a few years ago and now works as a freelance film actor, opera singer, and musical theater performer. 

This year, he has appeared in several operas in addition to starring in The Play of Saint Olav in July. Among other things, he was engaged at the Kristiansund Opera with the operas Den stundeløse (Bræin) and La Traviata (Verdi). He also appeared in Opera Trøndelag’s production of La Traviata in the spring of 2024. 

He also plays the role of "Roger" in the Norwegian series Kids in Crime and will also appear in season 2. This series airs on TV2.
