Truls Hannemyr

Truls Hannemyr is an Oslo-based musician, composer, and sound artist from Porsgrunn. After studying popular music at the Nordic Institute for Stage and Studio (NISS), he has worked as a freelancer—in recent years primarily in the performing arts field.

Truls has worked with many different companies, musicians, and performing artists, both as a musician, sound designer, composer, record producer, and technician—and, in addition to his long-standing collaboration with Maritea Dæhlin, has worked with, among others, Teater Innlandet (Get Me a Sinner and East of the Sun and West of the Moon), Grenland Friteater (All for Science, Herøya 1943), Mine Yalcin (Ivar’s Inn), and Chris Erichsen (Affection and Manifestos).

Otherwise, Truls plays in the ethio-jazz band Danakil Safari, which is set to release its debut album later in 2025.

This is Truls’s first visit to Kilden as a composer and sound designer.
