Plan the concert season

Graphic with text: Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra 2021/22—on sale now

The upcoming season features a diverse program, ranging from Handel’s *Messiah* (1741) to no fewer than three world premieres.

Throughout the season, we will be introducing soloists on their way to stardom, and the orchestra will also play a central role in this year’s major production at Kilden, Amadeus.

Exciting conductors

Principal Conductor Nathalie Stutzmann and Principal Guest Conductor Julian Rachlin will be joined this season by our new Principal Guest Conductor, Tabita Berglund. You’ll also have the opportunity to experience a number of exciting conductors making their debut in Kilden’s magnificent concert hall: Ruth Reinhardt, Lina González-Granados, Roderick Cox, Stefan Solyom, Daniel Reith, and Ken-David Masur.

Encouraging sales figures

Tickets for individual concerts and the “Pick & Mix” option are now also on sale. If you choose “Pick & Mix,” you can put together your own series of at least five concerts and receive a 25 percent discount. The Gold, Silver, and Crescendo subscription series have been on sale for two weeks.

Janneke Aulie, Sales and Marketing Manager at Kilden, reports encouraging figures.

– “It really seems like the audience is very much looking forward to the upcoming season, and we’ve been a bit overwhelmed by the demand for our subscription series. This means a great deal to the orchestra, and to Kilden ,” she says.
