The spectacular musical is back in a touring production, premiering in Kristiansand!
*We Will Rock You* was a huge success at Kilden in the spring of 2025; now it’s heading out on tour across the country, kicking off with a major “comeback” in Kristiansand in January. The tour marks the 25th anniversary of its premiere at the Dominion Theatre in London in 2002—where it played to sold-out houses for a full twelve years.
Several of the performers, musicians, and dancers from the production at Kilden are returning! Among them are Max Key Graarud (Galileo), Kajsa Sulutvedt (Scaramouche), Håvard Bakke (Kashoggi), and Ingeborg Walther (Oz). New star performers include the beloved powerhouse vocalist Tor Endresen as Buddy and actress/soul singer Kim Fairchild as Killer Queen.
The musical follows a spectacular story written by English comedian and author Ben Elton, woven around the supergroup Queen’s greatest hits, arranged by band members Brian May and Roger Taylor.
We’ll hear“Bohemian Rhapsody,”“I Want It All,”“A Kind Of Magic,”“Don’t Stop Me Now,”“I Want To Break Free,”“Another One Bites The Dust,”“Who Wants To Live Forever,”“We Are The Champions,” and many, many more.
The dialogue is in Norwegian; all songs are performed in their original languages.
