On Tuesday, SeniorKilden’s fall program went on sale. We ran into a group of good friends who were systematically securing tickets to a number of highlights after the summer.
“We do this every year—we sit down here and pick out everything we’re going to attend during the season. It usually ends up being quite a lot,” smiles Marit Vetås, just minutes after the sale has opened.
Together with five friends, she has taken a seat in the lobby at Kilden plan her participation in SeniorKilden over the coming months.
“There are 14 of us in total who are placing orders today,” she says.
"Seniorkilden" is Kilden's regular Tuesday program, aimed specifically at the older segment of the population. The program features everything from theater and various concert formats to lectures. Project Manager Lillian Nepstad at Kilden reports strong interest in the upcoming season:
“Launch day has become quite a big deal for our audience, and that was clearly evident at Kilden , with a line at the box office the moment sales opened, while the phones were ringing off the hook with inquiries from ticket buyers. In the first two hours, we sold over 500 tickets. It’s so much fun,” she says.
