Sinfonietta wraps up the season on home turf
A chamber orchestra consisting of 24 musicians from the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra is currently on tour throughout Agder. On Friday, September 23, they will conclude their tour on home turf at Kristiansand Cathedral.
“The reception has been wonderful out in Agder. It’s not often that we travel to so many different places with such a large ensemble, and the audience has really appreciated that,” says Geir Rebbestad, director of the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra.
Rising star conductor
Sinfonietta ut i Agder has presented a program featuring works by Grieg, Ravel, Honegger, and Stravinsky, and the young star conductor Aage Richard Meyer has accompanied them on the tour.
