It is with great sadness that we have received the news that His Majesty King Harald V has passed away.
Throughout his long life, King Harald has been a unifying figure for Norway. With his warm personality, dedication, and closeness to the people, he has held an important place in the hearts of the Norwegian people.
We at Kilden performing arts centre will remember a king who, for many years, showed great interest in Norwegian culture and who always championed the message of equality.
Our thoughts are with the royal family during this difficult time.

The public can expect some changes to the program in the near future. Information about this will be published on kilden.com. Ticket holders will be contacted directly.
At times like this, it’s nice to be able to come together. The foyer at Kilden will be set up to encourage fellowship and reflection. A book of condolences has been set up, where anyone who wishes to may write a message. Children will have the opportunity to draw and write on hearts that have been placed on drawing tables in the foyer. The hearts will be hung in the window and sent to the palace after the funeral.
