One of Norway’s most beloved bands of recent decades, D.D.E., will be performing atperforming arts centre Kilden performing arts centre the very first time when they come to Kristiansand on November 16. The event is expected to draw a large crowd.

- " Kilden Kultur aims to give the audience a wide range of offerings, and we know there are many people who love D.D.E. in southern Norway. I'm pretty sure that we can look forward to a hall full of happy audience members when D.D.E. comes to visit," says Daniel Stamnes, head of Kilden Kultur.

This fall, one of the country's most beloved bands is hitting the road with a concert that's a little out of the ordinary. The show "D.D.E. - GRAITEST HITS" contains a wide selection of the band's well-known and beloved songs, served in tandem with stories from over 30 years on the road.

Long career

- Songs from the band's long career will be presented, and something the audience always appreciates about D.D.E. is the stories that are told during the concert. They have a lot to share here too," chuckles Stamnes.

For over 30 years, D.D.E. has been writing songs, performing, and entertaining the Norwegian people. Three or four generations have sung along, danced, laughed, and cried—at home, in the car, on the boat, at the cabin, and especially at festivals and in party venues. Now, for the first time, these crowd favorites are embarking on a nationwide cultural center tour, where not only the hit songs but also some of the lesser-played gems from their catalog will get to shine.
