The Ukrainian Nobel Peace Prize laureate is coming to Kilden

It was announced today that Ukrainian Nobel Peace Prize laureate Oleksandra Romantsova will be coming to Kristiansand for the solidarity event for Ukraine atperforming arts centre Kilden performing arts centre on Februaryperforming arts centre .

“It’s big news for us that the Nobel Peace Prize laureate has chosen to attend the event at Kilden,” says CEO Harald Furre.

Oleksandra Romantsova was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022 for her work promoting democracy and human rights through the Center for Civil Rights in Ukraine.

During the solidarity event at Kilden February Kilden at 6:00 p.m., she will deliver a speech and discuss the organization’s work during this difficult time for her home country. The acting Ukrainian ambassador to Norway, Lilia Honcharevych, will also be in Kristiansand.

As in 2022, Kilden’s wave wall will be illuminated in the colors of Ukraine, starting on the anniversary of the invasion on February 24 and continuing through the weekend.

Please note: The event was originally scheduled for February 24 but has been rescheduled for February 26 to accommodate the recently confirmed guests.
