Play of Colors

Composers, musicians, choreographers, lighting and sound designers, set designers and instructors provide the professional framework for the performance. The young participants themselves set the premises for the content; they choose which stories to tell and how these are best conveyed through dance and music. In this way, Fargespill becomes close, musical encounters with young people's lives.
We believe that art and culture can contribute to quality of life, interpersonal understanding, value creation and social development. Color games are an arena where children and young people can experience mastery and build good social relationships regardless of background and life situation.
The performances are developed and produced in-house, and are an example of how Kilden Dialog works as a competence center for co-creative art and social practice.
Fargespill Kristiansand is a collaborative project with Kristiansand Kulturskole, Kongsgård Skolesenter, the University of Agder and various primary schools in Kristiansand. Cultiva contributed to the establishment of the project (2014-2017). The concept was originally taken from the Fargespill Foundation in Bergen.
Fargespill Kristiansand has been carried out in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
