- We are proud that the profit from SpareBank 1 SR-Bank contributes to a good cultural offer for the elderly where they are, says Rune Nilssen, local bank manager at SR-Bank, Kristiansand.

The new initiative would not have been possible without the gift from SR-Bank, says Kilden , and those who will ultimately benefit from the offer will be residents of senior centers. SR-Bank has strong ties to both Rogaland and Agder, and there are concrete plans to develop the concept westwards towards Rogaland, in collaboration with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra.

- Through "Kilden Ut i Agder", Kilden has already moved the edge of the stage physically out into the region to a larger audience group and offered culture to municipalities throughout Agder. With this digital initiative, the presence will be further strengthened and provide cultural experiences also to those who cannot participate physically, in both Agder and Rogaland, says content producer David Holme in Kilden Digital.

After ten years with Kilden Digital, thousands of hours of cultural content have been consumed by the region's elderly and many lessons have been learned. David tells of caregivers and relatives reporting that many of the residents are happy to show up in suits and dresses to enjoy a symphony concert.

- "We've had very good feedback on our offer. After ten years of bringing culture to residential and care centers, we have a good understanding of what our audience wants, and that's what we'll continue to give them," continues David.

Kilden is currently contacting municipalities in Agder to inform them about the offer that will be launched in 2023.
