In connection with Kilden's 10th anniversary, one of the world's great voices has been invited to Kristiansand and Norway. Gregory Porter is one of the most successful male jazz vocalists of our time and has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Disclosure, DJ Claptone, Sam Smith and Jeff Goldblum, among many other great artists.

He has twice won the GRAMMY Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album. On November 5 last year, the album "Still Rising" was released, an album that contains a number of highlights from Porter's career, including duets with artists such as Moby and Jamie Cullum.

The concert in Kilden will be based on Gregory Porter's work in Nat King Cole's fantastic musical world. In October 2017, Porter released the CD "Nat King Cole & Me", where he takes a deep dive into the legendary singer's songs, music that has had a great influence on Gregory Porter's own career.

September 3 will thus be one of the major celebrations of Kilden's 10th anniversary. In addition to the concert with Porter and KSO, there will be live music in the foyer, a red carpet and a party atmosphere from beginning to end.
