Invitation to a grand launch

Which plays will be featured on the stages of Kilden performing arts centre year? On October 18, we invite you to a grand program launch.  

"This has become an important event for Kilden in recent years, and we've seen growing interest in attending, both from loyal audience members and those who may just be curious," says communications advisor Kjetil Nordhus, who will host the event from the stage. Nearly 400 audience members have already picked up tickets for the launch.

Current names

Kilden is set to feature prominent actors, directors, and other surprises when it unveils its 2024 program. And, as is tradition, this will also mark the first time the season’s art posters are revealed. This time, the poster series has been created by a young, up-and-coming artist from Southern Norway, and we are very excited to showcase the posters, of which we are incredibly proud.  

Social Gathering 

Following the program launch in the Theater and Opera Hall, the audience is invited to a reception in the foyer, where they can enjoy a drink and light refreshments. Key figures from the 2024 theater season will also be in attendance, and Nordhus believes that this informal part of the launch can be just as important.  

“In recent years, this has been a truly enjoyable part of the evening, where the conditions have been created so that both those involved in the performances and those who come to watch can look forward to something together,” says Nordhus, who does not wish to reveal his personal favorites for the 2024 season.
